Spring is almost here mammas, and we all know what that means! Jerseys, tracksuits and jackets start getting packed away to make space for summer tees, denim shorts, cute skirts and flowy dresses. I love sorting through our cupboards and getting ready for the next season. I usually start with mine as I begin dreaming of those long summer days and all the things I’m soon going to be able to wear. Okay I know, we still have at least a month of cold weather to get through but we have already had just a small taste if summer with some gloriously hot days in between! nI

And then started tackling the boy’s cupboards last week and was shocked to discover that t-shirts that were fitting them last summer, are now resembling a 90’s Brittany Spear ensemble, with tummies exposed and EVUREE-thing. I’ve realised this is mostly due to bad quality clothing purchases, where the t-shirts simply shrink and lose all their shape after a few washes. ] (They also seem to get thinner and thinner with each wash, a sure sign of the poor fabric quality!)  Either way, my usually small boys seem to be growing like weeds and I realised I better be prepared and start looking for some good quality t-shirts that would last them a couple of seasons.

Now you may remember how fussy my boys can be with certain clothes. Thankfully with t-shirts they are pretty straight-forward! As long as they are fun and in nice colours, they usually get a big thumbs up from both our little dudes. I was told recently that Keedo International, one of my favourite clothing stores for Hunter (and the boys when they were younger), is now stocking sizes up to 6-7 years!! So I popped in to see what I could find for them and let’s just say the boys are SUPER stoked with my choices. I actually wish I had taken them to pick out their t-shirts for themselves because there is so much choice and such a great variety.

I love that their older range is slightly more mature and classic, but still playful. I chose slightly more fun and boyish stuff for Brody, like this oh-so-cute shorts and tee set featured below. He loves robots so this was just perfect for him.

All in all, I think what I really love about their brand is that their styles, prints and, patterns are timeless. There are no overly printed or over-the-top characters with hard to match designs. Just simple design, great quality and things that mix and match perfectly with other items in their cupboard. And guys, I know that some of you feel they can’t justify spending as much on kid’s clothes with other department stores offer things cheaper, but I think the quality and longevity of products like this speak for themselves. These are items that the boys will wear for years and which we will eventually pass down to friends and their siblings etc. So a few quality t-shirts are really a great investment.

Keedo International have generously offered my readers the chance to ***WIN*** a R500 voucher for their store! You could get an entire shorts and t-short set and still have R100 to put towards something else. How rad!!

You can find all these awesome t-shirts over at Keedo in sizes all the way up to 6-7 years. Bear in mind Noah is 8 and these will still fit him next year so they may even fit your 9 years old’s too 🙂
