There’s no denying how far we have come with technology in recent years. And things only seem to be getting better, faster and a whole lot SMARTER!
We have been born into a generation of technical growth and advancement, where we now thrive on the effortless lifestyle and accessible functionality that comes with the many newly developed devices on the market.
As someone who has at times been a little technologically challenged, it’s a welcome relief to see how easy and simple things have become. I mean, if I can set things up and find out how something works, let’s just say anyone can! Ok maybe my mom wold need a little help 🙂
I was recently sent some amazing devices from Xiaomi. Who are they?

I was sent three products to try and test: Mi Smart Band 5, Mi TV Stick and the Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2. Heres some info on them and why they are really rated as the the best value for money.
The Mi Smart Band 5 offers so much at the very affordable price of only R699. There are no other fitness watched like it at this price, which says a lot. This little gadget is great to help keep track of your fitness and track workouts. It also offers 24/7 activity and sleep tracking , heart rate monitoring AND it supports the ability to track outdoor activity using GPS. It also allows you to view phone notifications and check the weather, how cool is that?

Next up is the awesome Mi TV Stick which for people who are big on TV entertainment, will love for their easy to navigate functionality and effortless channel surfing! It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built in storage. It supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD ab for connectivity, it has HDMI 2.). Micro USB, Bluetooth 4.2 and dual band wi-fi. You will be happy to know, its certified and you can download the DSTV App from Playstore. Its a dream!
Lastly the wireless earphones! Where do I even begin. The boys love using earphones too these days – its great when you don’t need someones sound blasting through the entire house or while you’re trying to do homework in peace with one child. There’s also just something about the quality of sound when you use a set of earbuds. No other sounds interfere with yours and you can fully submerge into music or movies.

All in all, I will say, that for the price you pay there are no better devices available in their range. You will struggle to find such incredible value for money and with such great features.
