The wedding Expo

I sometimes feel the need to slap myself across the face when I realise I’ve been married for almost 10 years. Yes thats right you little spring chickens, I’ve been married for almost a decade! While I have absolutely no regrets about the man I chose to wed and little to no regret about the dress I had made to walked down the isle in, I do regret not exploring my options a little more.

In hind site, if I regret one thing about my wedding planning, it was not not enjoying the whole process more and taking my time to see what style and type of wedding resonated with our personalities. It’s a mind boggle how two of the most untraditional personalities ended up with the most traditional wedding – think orchids, raw silk, gold painted leaves, candelabra and white linen dropped from the ceiling. Beautiful at the time no doubt, but I think we may have escaped the box we put ourselves in had we visited a few more of our options.

These days, brides-to-be seem spoilt for choice with The Wedding Expo showcasing only the best of the best the wedding world has to offer. They really do have everything that needs to be considered to make a dream wedding a reality in one place. Gone are the days where you have to travel for miles in every direction to source everything on a long list of to do’s.
