Firstly can I just point out that another term is almost coming to an end. Yes that’s right, school holidays are already around the corner. It’s ludicrous! The good news is that the cold wintry days seem to be behind us (Although you never know with the fickleness that is Cape Town right?) But, I’m pretty certain we are going to see warmer days from here on out, and come October holidays our kids will be playing outside a whole lot more.
So, a whole term has gone by since Noah took part in the Supper Sport Soccer School holiday Camp – In those 4 days he was taught so much and it was amazing to see first hand how his love for soccer only grew. For those who missed it on the blog, Supper Sport United Soccer School is a new era of proudly South African soccer schools, dedicated to teaching football. Situated right in the heart of the Southern Suburbs, this Soccer School is all about creating a fun, engaging and professional way for kids to learn the art of soccer.
I have spend time with Brent and Wesley, the two guys behind this awesome outreach programme, and they are the sweetest, most down-to-earth guys you will ever meet. Their passion for teaching soccer to young kids is evident through the way they talk about their school and their vision for growing the sport in South Africa. I can’t think of any better role models when it comes to nurturing and mentoring young kids through sport. I love it that learning is not limited to only ball skills, but that their programme develops confidence and a sense teamwork, both on and off the field.
If you are looking for something worthwhile that is going to keep your child busy and entertained in the holidays coming up, you may want to look into the Super Sport United Holiday Camp which runs from the 3rd – 6th October at UCT’s lower campus in Mowbray. All details can be seen below! It’s so central and easy to access.
If you have any questions, email Brent or Wesley at southernsuburbsct@ssuss.co.za or get hold of them with the contact details above and they will answer any questions! Please share this with any friends who you think would love to know about this little gem. ♥ It’s a wonderful opportunity to see if your child enjoys the training offered at SSUSS and whether you would like to sign up for weekly sessions each term.
Here is the link to their website for more information. But please feel free to contact the guys directly with enquiries. They are so helpful and just a pleasure to deal with.
Happy Monday!
