There seems to be a lot of hype around the Good Housekeeping Family Fun Day happening this Sunday at Backsberg Estate Cellars in Paarl. I didn’t realise there was SO much planned and that it was such a huge event with a great line up!

> Exciting Eco Carnival. Children can enjoy traditional carnival games using recycled products
> Beautiful picnic area. Gourmet food trucks will be stationed throughout the venue, plus Backsberg wines (at cellar prices) and craft beer will be on sale for the adults.

> Dance lessons and fun educational performances – GIRLS will be stoked!
> Product sampling and goodie bags.. who doesn’t like a great goodie bag?
> Raffle tickets on sale (all proceeds . along with R10 from every ticket sold . goes to Save the Children) with the opportunity to win great prizes and support a good cause.

PRICE:
Adults – R120 each (includes a FREE three-month print or a four-month digital subscription to Good Housekeeping/Goeie Huishouding; R10 of the ticket price goes to the Save the Children charity).
Children – (two to 16 years) R20 each (includes ALL kids’ activities for the day).
Under-twos and pensioners enter free.

Despite not having my hubs in town, I’m going to brave it with my own kids (roping in a few friends no doubt!) If you would like to join in the fun, I’m giving away 2 sets of tickets for TWO families. (Two adults, two children) So if you have more than two kids you will only pay the additions R20 per child.
